4281 successful operators instead of 5862 subscribers


Dhaka: Four thousand 181 subscribers have changed their operators in the first five days without changing the mobile number. And 5,862 subscribers have been interrupted. The biggest obstacle is from Grameenphone. Then there are Banglalink, Robi and Teletalk.

The government, by changing operators or MNP service without changing the number on October 1. MNP service provider Infoselion Teletalk offers BD services. To avail the service, a customer is required to pay 157 rupees 50 paise to the desired operator's new SIM and MNP charges.

Once the operators change, the service will be operated within 72 hours of the application, but the operator can not change the next 90 days.

According to a report published by the BTRC on Tuesday (09 October) with the information available to the MNP service provider, it has been found that among the total 10 thousand 122 applications in the first five days, 4 thousand 118 subscribers have successfully changed the operators. And 5,862 people have been interrupted. 79 pending applications in pending cases

According to BTRC, currently MNP services are operational in 72 countries around the world. In neighboring India in 2011 and in Pakistan, MNP services started in 2007. According to the MNP service, operators will increase the quality of the service, said the BTRC.

Operator has changed the 4181 customer
According to the report, 28 people from Grameenphone, 37 from Robi, and 24 from Banglalink changed the total of 89 subscribers, changed the operator to Telete. A total of 682 subscribers, including 25 from Teletalk, 331 from Robi and 326 from Banglalink came to Grameenphone.

A total of 2,341 subscribers, including 82 from Teletalk, 1,035 from Grameenphone and 926 from Banglalink came to Robi. 23 subscribers from Teletalk, 450 from Grameenphone, Robi to 604, Total 1,880 subscribers changed their operators to Banglalink.

5862 people got interrupted
Grameenphone has blocked the total of 45 people, including Robi 18, Banglalink 11 to go to Teletalk. Teletalk 164 people, Robi 414, Banglalink 255 people, including 833 people to go to Grameenphone

To go to Robi, Teletalk 322, Grameenphone 1 thousand 975, Banglalink 1,553 people, including 3 thousand 550 people Teletalk 93 people, Bangabandhu 791 people, Robi 550 people, including the total of 1,434 people are barred.

Teletalk has blocked 579 people, Grameenphone 2, 782, Robi 982 and Banglalink 1 thousand 519 subscribers.

Robi authorities said that after the launch of the MNP service on October 1, Robi has the capacity to come up with strong 4.5G network. They thank the customers for this. Even though customer response is not yet received in the MNP service, it is necessary to increase the campaign to make the customers interested in it. As far as available, 50 percent interested subscribers could not change the operator through MNP service for various reasons. Robi has been working with regulatory agencies to remove the non-MNP services due to the reasons.
