Dhaka: Senior Executive (Business Sales) Syed Tanvir Rahman and distributor Toufiq Hossain Khan Palash have been arrested by RAB-4 in connection with the sale of corporate SIM in the name of different organizations.
On Saturday night (October 6th), two people were detained on the basis of secret information. A large number of illegal SIMs were seized from them.
Senior Assistant Director of RAB Legal and Media Wing, ASP Mizanur Rahman told banglanews that a circle was being sold outside by issuing corporate SIM in the name of various companies. Recently a call was made from a number to a foreign citizen demanding 10 million taka. Syed Tanvir and Towfiq were detained by the detective on the basis of that investigation.
On Sunday (October 7th) at 12 noon, a press conference will be made in RAB's media center at Karwan Bazar, said ASP Mizanur.
